Panama City Diving

The Panama City/Bay County area has some of the best diving in the State of Florida. Bay County is very active in the state artificial reef program. Bay County alone has over 100 artificial reef. These sites range from ships, to planes, to tanks, to bridge spans, and more. All sites allow for fantastic diving.

On a typical dive with Diver's Den, a diver will see almost all of the marine life native to the Gulf of Mexico. Wild Dolphin Encounters are normal. In the summer time a Diver may even see Whale Sharks and Manta Rays, not to mention most fish species in the Gulf of Mexico!

Diver's Den offers charters to all of the sites in the area. Including custom and spear fishing trips!

For divers who want a shore dive, there is St Andrews State Park. It has a shore dive that is one of the best overall dives in the whole area.

Water temperatures average in the mid 80's in the summer and 60's in the winter. If winter temps are too cold for you, Panama City is located within one and a half hours from three springs. The springs make great winter diving because they stay at a year round 67 degrees.
